I don't have cable, so I tend not to watch too much TV. I watch Sifl and Olly on Winamp TV...

1. Law and Order:SVU
2. Scrubs
3. I think "The Office" will be #3 when it comes on on Thursday
4. Law and Order
5. Abrams Report, Top 5 Countdown with Keith Oberman, and Hardball with Chris Matthews.  They all count as one, really.

The Office is one of the funniest damned shows I've ever seen.  A friend of mine from England showed me a bunch of the episodes, and its fucking hilarious.  I had no idea they were airing it in the states, but then again I don't pay attention to anything going on in the world, so it wouldn't be surprising if something blew up and I didn't know about it.  And I mean something big....like Philadelphia.

SVU wasn't that great last night.  I really look forward to next week, though.  It's really lame, I watch at least 2 or 3 episodes everyday.

The Office aired in England?  Are you sure?
I think I watch too much TV.

The one that is airing here is a new The Office.   The original was a hugely successful sitcom that aired on BBC and was released to DVD with surprising sales.

So they made an american version a la "Coupling".

Gah.  I was afraid that was the case.  In that case, it's going to suck.  I hold out absolutely no hope for an actually funny show like The Office was in the UK.  American writers just don't have the grasp on subtle comedic writing that the British do...really Americans don't have much of a grasp on subtelty at all.  If you want to see a GOOD show, do yourself a favour and watch the British show.

I'll start spelling it that way when those lobsterbacks start getting the colour right in my tax-free tea.
