1. Are they worth it?
2. Any suggestions on which to get?
3. Any alternatives to buying one?

Also, I have no idea. If they are worth it (which I'm assuming Evan will field) I might get one for the burning oven that is my 12" Power book.

I know nothing about "Cooling Pads" I don't deal with laptops, mostly cause my desktop is  better for cheaper, this has absolutely nothing to do with my lack of money.

Nothing at all.

Nothing.

Have you got a problem with that?

I wanted a desktop, but my aunts boyfriend offered this laptop for about 1000 dollars. It's only a year old so I said deal.

See I see absolutely nothing wrong with laptops, but I want a laptop that can do everything my aging desktop can, and since this thing was top of the line a while back it'd be at least $1500 to pull that off, and for that kind of money I can spec out and build a mid-high range desktop machine, so I'd rather just do that.

Although that new Apple Laptop, the Intel one, friggin tempting

It'll cost you a pretty $2000.

But it'd be worth it, because you'd be a Mac faggot like me.
