If I had a band and learned how to play these songs...

San Tropez - Pink Floyd
Friend of the Devil - The Grateful Dead
Ophelia - The Band
Ramble On - Led Zeppelin
Mr. Soul - Buffalo Springfield

I'm not sure why. I guess I like the idea of playing upbeat ditties more than elaborate compositions. It's strange, though. I didn't choose any of the songs I already know how to play. Intriguing!

I've played probably close to 40 or 50 jazz tunes live as well as a larger number of classical pieces. Of the classical pieces, "To the Summit" and various Copland arrangements make my heart heavy...

1.  David Bowie/Queen - Under Pressure (from a strictly vocal standpoint, I'd want to sing Freddy Mercury's part, but from a lyrical awesome-ness standpoint, I'd want to sing Bowie's)
2.  David Bowie - Rebel, Rebel (for some reason I think this song would be incredibly sexy sung by a girl, espicially if that girl were me)
3.  Barenaked Ladies - If I Had $1,000,000
4.  Carly Simon - Nobody Does It Better
5.  PUSA - Video Killed the Radio Star

Songs I have performed live:

Oasis - The Masterplan, Aquiese, Morning Glory
Nancy Sinatra - Bang, Bang (sexy Kill Bill goodness)
Annie Lennox - Into the West (QUOTE THIS POST AND CALL ME A CUNT I'm just that geeky)
Carly Simon - In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning
Jekyll and Hyde - In His Eyes (okay so its from a musical, but its still a song and I wasn't in that musical)
Scarborough Fair (I'd say Simon and Garfunkle, but I didn't do their version)

Joe would be a great performer if he actually ever made anything to back up the fact. This is another example of how little Joe delivers.

Like I said any of you are invited to the Derosa's next time Mike D comes home and you can watch me deliver. Nick has seen it, I dunno if anyone else has though. I am trying to make it a habit of actually delivering. I have written songs for that musical project I was talking to you about at the battle of the bands but I have no musicians till Mike D gets back and drums. My 80's synth project how ever should be going somewhere soon. Anyways if I fail to deliver so what, I'll by Daniel Delaney and a friend of his choice a coke.

Also right now I am working on a song Mike and some other people already recorded. If I deliver you should have a special update that hosts the song and a banner declaring that Joe Henson is not as big of a blamblorg as once thought. eh?

I wish I could play Green Hornet by Al Hirt. That's on the Kill Bill soundtrack too.
