Behold, my new baby:


They're fantastic.  They sound great, almost too great.  The drum brain is pre-loaded with 90 different drum sets, and an additional 10 slots for user-made kits.  Last night I plugged the thing into garageband, uploaded an mp3, and this was the result:

Let me know what you think.  This was the first take, hence why I fucked up some of the parts.  I'm not looking to turn this into anything fancy, just wanted to get an idea of how the V-drums sounded through garageband.

Also, I want to place a solicitation for incomplete music projects on the table.  If you have instrumentals, riffs, whatever you'd like a beat to, I'd be happy to work with them.

Sounds pretty sick. Can you load any sample you want into the user made kits? If so

I think I can do that, just not directly into the drum brain...in order to load my own samples, I'd probably have to get a MIDI interface and then run the drums through either garageband or a more drum-focused program such as AddictiveDrums or EXDrummer or whatever it's called.  But that is something I'd like to do down the line.  You tryna make money with me, young buck?
