...we've been together for 7 years, never really played a show up until 2 weekends ago.  Last night we played an open mic at the World Cafe Live, a pretty well-known venue in Philadelphia, largely due to its sharing a building with a local public radio station.  After our set, another performer came up to us.  He said he rapped, and wanted us to back him for his segment.  His wife recorded the song, and here it is:

The song we played was one of our own that we rearranged and chopped up, and it seemed to fit nicely with his lyrics.  Enjoy!

hey, i think it sounds pretty cool. i wish i could understand better what the dude is saying so that I could comment on the lyric-meshing aspect, but i like it. 

Everyone on these here boards is so talented, it makes me feel like a talentless loser-face. That's probably a pretty realistic self-evaluation though. Point being: I like it, but what the hell do I know?

Yeah considering that it's just a point and shoot I think it turned out alright.  But expect more from the FWS...
