Holy fuck. This game is amazing. I've been playing it on my buddy's flat screen TV in HD.
Gameplay is similar to Resident Evil 4, but the knife attacks are a lot weaker.
The deal with this game is that it is most enjoyably played in co-op mode. I've had problems with co-op games in the past, but it's really smooth in this game. One character can jump or climb to hard-to-reach areas, which usually is necessary to unlock doors for the other players. My buddy and I split up the guns so that one is a shotgunner, the other is a sniper, and that seems to be working pretty well.
The enemies are all incredibly disgusting and extremely violent, and I love it.
Has anyone else played it yet?

played it a little while while it was at work, waiting for it to return to the game library so I can rent it out. Looked pretty awesome when I was playing it.

Beat it a few months back with Chase, I enjoyed it a lot. How far along are you?
Also when you beat it the real fun begins, because you can play through it on the hardest mode, where you pretty much die in 2 hits from anything (and probably 1 hit from stuff later in the game). We didn't get very far in that because we wanted to kill every zombie in the town at the beginning (theres something like 99) and even with infinite ammo with the handgun (you get to keep all your upgrades and weapons) it is damn hard.

That stupid Aussie clearly hasn't been playing in co-op mode. I do agree with him about the inventory system, but at the same time, I think strategizing with the inventory makes the game that much more of a challenge. Also, the way he says "herbs" angers me.
Anyways, we are in the marshlands, where you have to travel from native settlement to settlement to get pieces of a slate to unlock the main door. Adam just died on the raft at the hands of a giant alligator and we called it a night.
Also, I lost my copy of Resident Evil 4, or I sold it, I don't know which, but I'm kicking myself because I want to play that fucking game again.

Resident Evil 5 reviewed pretty poorly. But it sold pretty well. So take that to mean whatever you want.

What level are you playing on? If it is anything less than 4 I will be severally disappointed mister And I can't remember the order of the game; have you run into Tiki Bob yet?

He always reviews games solely on the single player campaign.

I didn't know there was a numerical value for the difficulty setting. We're playing on normal. And I don't think we've found Tiki Bob yet, but since we're in the native villages section, my guess is we're almost there!

You will know him when you see him he is so awful :( And then just wait until Machine Gun Ted. e: Also I meant to type "hard" and I have no idea where that 4 came from. In any case you disappoint me
