Finally got comcast in the new apt. but for some reason, my mac cant get onto the internet. full strength from the router, and megan's seems to work but it ignores me. help!

Things are a little vauge - specifics would help!

Can you connect to the router wirelessly and get bars? (When you select it from the Airport pulldown)
--> if so, when you go to your internet browser, what message does your browser give when it cannot connect?

Can you connect to the internet with an ethernet cable from the modem to your mac?

Can you connect to the internet with an ethernet cable from rother to your  mac?

Have you been able to connect wirelessly to the internet with a different router (via someone else's open wireless network?)
