HERE IS THAT QUESTION I HAD DAN

So I just updated to the newest version of Firefox and it erased all my bookmarks. I am unhappy. Any idea how I can (IF I can) restore them? Thanks!

(This question is not exclusively for Dan...if you know the answer PLEASE HELP ME I AM LOST WITHOUT MY HUNDREDS OF WEBCOMICS!!!)

You could try running your Firefox shortcut with the -profiles (Maybe /profiles, or profile...) switch It'll bring up the Profiles box and maybe your old one's still there with its bookmarks.

Okay so after following the directions that were given to me by the Firefox website, which were of absolutely NO HELP WHATSOEVER, I went searching through directories and figured it out myself.

If anyone else has this problem, you will find what you are looking for under C: > Documents&Settings > Owner > Application Data > Mozilla > Firefox > Profiles > Wacky Ass Folder Name.default > Bookmark Backups

Now there will probably be a whole bunch of files in there, from various dates. Just open them up in a page in Firefox to see which one contains the bookmarks you want to recover, then go into Firefox, go to Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks > Import > From File > then navigate to the Bookmark Backups directory and select the appropriate file. Then organize them as you want and blammo wammo all your bookmarks are back!
