yep, THATS RIGHT, they're going to try to make a Dune movie again. David Lynch's was good as far as production design goes, even if it did not follow the story to the dot, and the series was badly acted, directed and whatever because it was sci-fi channel and they were broke or something. Whatever, the only bright side to the series was that it followed the books a lot more closely.
I was waiting, hoping, that someone of decent ability and motivation would take up the challenge, like Jim Cameron, or Ridley Scott or something. but NOPE, its 'peer berg' who's only notable film in my opinion is "Hancock" which I havent seen and am only attracted to because of the concept. Haven't seen 'The Kingdom'
