I have just finished downloading a torrented game for my Mac and I'm having some trouble installing it on here. The torrent is basically just a bunch of dmg files representing the individual CDs. I went through every cd and installed what was on them but now when I boot it up it asks for CD 2. Is there anything I'm missing here?

welp many games require a CD to play, as evidence that you have bought the game -

Try mounting the file cd2.dmg or whatever and not ejecting it afterwards - then just start the game, or start the game and mount the cd 2 file.

I've done it with the CD mounted before hand and that did not work. I can't mount the CD afterwards though because for some reason the game takes up my entire screen and won't let me get to my desktop without exciting out of it.

Apple+M will usually minimize most games so you can go to the desktop.

Try that maybe?

Tried that, still no dice. I guess I'll dig around online for hints.

You could also look for something like "<game name> dmg"

There isn't one of those, just a dmg for every CD (4 plus the expansion pack making 5).

I've done every combo of mounting, some forums suggest I use Toast but that's a program I have to pay for as far as I know, so I'm leaning towards giving up right about now.

So you've got no problem pirating games but when it comes to utilities, thats where you draw the line?

If http://www.megagames.com/gcracks.html doesn't have the crack, nowhere will.
