What is a .cbr file and what do I need to download to open it? It is keeping me from enjoying stuff cause my computer (the mac) has no default application to open such files.

First hit on Google: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28400

It appears .cbr is just a ZIP of a bunch of Jpegs, and it has a fancy comic branded extension.

.cbr's, Image Comics, and Jim Shooter are the reasons the comic industry is constantly teetering on the edge of collapse  sad

Yeah, ah, about that Elmo. I used to buy a lot of comics, actually. And then I had to take a hard look at my bank account and make some tough decisions. I cut out luxury items like comics, books and movies in favor of stuff like rent and food. I wish I could spend more on my favorite hobby, but fiscally it was a difficult decision.

Comics have been around for over sixty years Nick. I'm pretty sure they'll survive pirates and crummy books.

Have you got a problem with that?
