After 3 years of hesitating and questioning Apple, I'm getting a MacBook. I'm getting it next month, before my Penn State account expires and I lose my computer store discount.
Of course color is the most important decision. I like the
black MacBook with 2GB of memory and a 250GB hard drive standard, but I can easily upgrade the
white one to the same specifications but for a lower price. Are there any non-obvious differences between the two?
Next question: the bulk of my music, movies, old papers, etc are stored on an external hard drive formatted for Windows (FAT32, I think). What would be a good method of transferring data from that to a MacBook?
