Create the ultimate band, the only rule is that the people must be currently alive. And try and keep the # of people in the band with in reason.

Drums: Jason Bittner from Shadows Fall
Bass: Jason Newsted formerly of Metallica
Rhythm Guitar: Richard Z. Kruspe-Bernstein from Rammstein
Lead Guitar: Andy LaRoque from King Diamond
Vocals: Serj Tankian from System of a Down
I feel compelled to explain my choices. Don't ask why.
Bittner is one of the most talented metal drummers out there today. His double bass just fucking blows my mind. As far as my choice for bassist...I'm not too crazy about metal bassists. Jason Newsted can hold his own. I would've picked Cliff Burton, but he's dead. Richard from Rammstein...he rarely takes a solo, and when he does, it sucks. However, he makes pretty nifty riffs. Andy's solos, on the other hand are nothing short of amazing. He doesn't wank, like some other metal guitarists. He makes awesome riffs too. I think Andy and Richard would make a good guitar combination. Finally, I'm even more picky about singers than I am about bassists. The sheer power of Serj's voice can't be denied. There you have it, my ideal metal band.
