Alright, this one is for all you people out there who like to make lists and read comics. This was not an easy list for me, but I'm pretty addicted to comics. Any other thoughts?

1. Watchmen
2. The Invisibles
3. V for Vendetta
4. Chosen
5. Powers

(I will bet I can predict Ethan's #1 right now)

No order

Mark Waid's Fantastic Four run
Kingdom Come
Frank Miller's Daredevil run
Bone
Geoff John's the Flash run

I was assuming this was mainly for mainstream and super hero comics so I didn't put much thought into indies.

I'm The Doctor. I'm a Time Lord. I'm from the planet Gallifrey in the constellation of Kasterborus and I'm the
man who is going to save all your lives and those of the six billion people below.

Have you got a problem with that?

The first six issues were sick, the next were okay, the third set of six were solid, and I haven't read past that yet. I need to pick up the fourth trade and then 4 more issues and I'll be current.

Bone

This was recently released in a complete, epic-sized volume containing the entire series. Priced very reasonably at $40.00. I know I sound like shill for Jeff Smith, but if there ever was a time to get into Bone, right fucking now is sounding pretty good. Not only that, Bone is appropriate for most any age.

Kingdom Come

Kingdom Come, being an amazing work of masterful storytelling cimbined with amazing, eye-grabbing artwork, is one of my favorite comics. I always kind of felt like you needed to know certain events/things/people from DC Comics history, however. Kind of like, it's tough to understand just what is going on early in the comic if you don't know why everyone should be afraid of Captain Marvel/Billy Batson.

Ethan doesn't get Bone. He just borrows mine.

Also, all the individual volumes of Bone are/were being re released in color. Pretty cool if a person had never read them before and wants more pow to their eyeballs.

Kingdom Come is what made me love DC. I pretty much knew only the basics of the universe before reading it, being a Marvel boy since before I could even read. I love Mark Waid, but fuck Alex Ross.

Earth X/Universe X/Paradise X is pretty good too. It pretty much ties together and gives reason to every event that ever happened within the Marvel universe.

Man Walking Dead is so good. I love Kirkman. Invincible is probably my favorite ongoing series these days.
