I saw in the other thread that Firefox 2.0 has been released. I downloaded and installed, but I was informed that it is not compatible with Fasterfox. Does anyone know if and when a new and compatible version of Fasterfox will be released?

The core changes in Firefox 2.0 were pretty substantial as I understand it, so it might be awhile. What does Fasterfox do anyway?

It supposedly speeds up the page loading time. Frankly, I didn't notice much of a difference, but it made me feel cool when I said "I have Fasterfox."

Well I'm running 2.0 now and I really don't "Feel" any of the changes yet, so I'd say keep rockin 1.9 until your extensions work with the new version

For OS X users: FireFox 2.0 is still a clunky piece of shit and there is no reason (apart from very odd extensions) that you should use it over Safari/Camino.

FireFox for Windows is so good...  :frown:

You guys don't have a default browser that flaunts web standards and pretty much says "Wanna do something to me? Haha! Okay!" to everything though. You don't Need Firefox, we do.
