We all know that our generation enjoyed the best of the best that Nickelodeon had to offer. What were your favorites?

1. The Adventures of Pete and Pete
2. Salute Your Shorts
3. Rocko's Modern Life
4. Ren and Stimpy
5. Tie: Wild and Crazy Kids and What Would You Do? (I always wanted to get pied)

And for shits and giggles: My Brother and Me. Anyone remember that show? Man, it sure was bad.

In very specific order:

1. The Adventures of Pete and Pete
2. Ren & Stimpy
3. Rocko's Modern Life
4. Salute Your Shorts
5. Are You Afraid of the Dark?

And yes, Flyntz, I totally remember My Brother and Me.  It was awful.  I really wish there were some way for me to include Kenan and Kel on this list, but All That fucking sucked and so did their show.  It's ashame, because they were hilarious.  Also, Are You Afraid of the Dark? scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.  The episode with the mummy?  Fuck that shit!

No order...

- Nickelodeon Arcade (How fucking cool was that to be in a video game? Of course it probably sucked to be in the game because you're just standing in front of a blue screen jumping around and grabbing at nothing...)
- Ren and Stimpy
- Rocko's Modern Life
- Legends of the Hidden Temple
- Salute Your Shorts

I loathed My Brother and Me, but that didn't stop me from watching every damn episode. There was that one where the snake got loose in the house. That was pretty good when that happened.

Also, Didi had two friends, a black kid a white kid with glasses and overalls, for diversity.

No, no. Goo was Alphie's friend, the older brother. Didi had two little friends named Harry and Dynell (Guess which one was the little white kid). Roll Eyes

Goddammit I wasted my childhood.

Dynell was white, right?

Anyhoo, it's clear how this show was presented in full ebonic force. Do you all think that Nickelodeon was trying to appeal to a larger audience, as most of its other shows preferred white actors/actresses? Except for Doug...that appealed to green people, blue people, etc.

Was Skeeter black?

Also: Who loves orange soda? and

PUT THE SCREW
IN THE TUNA

Kenan and Kel wasn't great, but oh! the catchphrases.  Also, why is Kenan in SOAP and other movies? Kel was funnier, and also way hotter. C'mon.

Of course skeeter was black. His dad was the angry black man, they lived on the poorest house on jumbo street, and they couldn't afford a real baby-sitter so they had to get doug.

And whats with people thinking Kenan and Kel wasn't the greatest show ever? During the thanksgiving episode kel ate the whole turky so in a panic they tried to take some deli meat and drape it over the bones. You can't write that stuff people!

Apparently I was wrong about Kel's acting career. He'll be starring in next year's blockbuster, "Like Mike 2: StreetBall"

Kel was in Mystery Men. That movie had a lot of potential. Pity it was so awful.

Yeah I kind of forgot how awesome that show was.  In light of this, I'm replacing my number 5 slot with Kenan and Kel, QUOTE THIS POST AND CALL ME A CUNT damn. Hehehe....screw in the tuna.  Yeah, I remember that now.
