1) Thrash metal.
2) Melodic death metal.
3) Power/speed metal.
4) Progressive metal.
5) New Wave of British Heavy Metal (although it's arguably a movement, not a subgenre).

Glam/Hair/Sleaze
Thrash
Power Grove(not power metal)
Funk Metal(sometimes called funk rock)
NWBHM(Yeah it is a movement but the bands within the movement have no other classification)

Also, speed metal isn't the same as power metal.
