I think the overall format of the new board is great. I'm thrilled that the move was finally made. phpBB is a huge step up. It's such an easy format... everything is just one click away. Color-scheme isn't shabby.

The graphic buttons (AIM, EDIT, etc) with the red text are a tad difficult to read IMO

I agree, although, I think they were created on a larger scale, hence the compression. Maybe Dave can fix it.

I had a lot of trouble with those. My original intent was to have the letters be transparent and have whatever was behind them be the color, but it turned out to be unreadable. They're not much better now, but they're at least sort of kind of readable, so I gave it the ole "Eh, screw it," and left em that way. Maybe sometime when I don't have any real work to do I'll make better ones.

Maybe I'll find a hack to allow users to disable images... Or create a less image filled skin....so they can choose what they like. Although this skin does reduce images by a fairly large amount already. The only thing annoying is the....background. Black isn't working here. Don't know what else would. Maybe have the board itself glow a bit more....Its missing something. But for th most part its sexi. |

I'm still not a fan of the colour scheme, but I don't really suggest changing it since I don't actually care. I agree with the buttons thing, but they're still sort of readable and I don't really notice them anyway. Overall, I like it. Also, the text is normal which was my only real complaint with the old board, anyway.

I'm not a big fan of the black-purple-red color scheme, but I don't know what would work better, so I'm not being very productive.

B. The scroll bar is really annoying because it's just purple with a black outline, which makes it hard to see.

Actually I do care about the color scheme if I am on here for too long it hurts my eyes but it's npt a big enough problem for me to ask you guys to change it.

The color scheme spawned from the original red text on a black field scheme of "Emperor Ethan's Goth Geocities Extravaganza Page." Also, if it looks too dark, your gamma is off. Fix it.

It's not that it's too dark, it's just that the thin black line is hard to see on any color. If it were completely filled in, then it'd be easier to see.
